Yvette Johnson - CEO
Yvette Johnson is a native of Beaufort, SC with thirty plus years of business management experience. Passionate about business and committed to excellence, she sought out to start a business that is primarily owned and managed in a male dominated industry. However, Yvette Johnson is deeply rooted in the Dump Truck business as her grandfather, Gus Harper, was the first African American Dump Truck business owner and operator in Beaufort, South Carolina.
Always having the niche to be her own boss, what once was a dream became a reality, Delta Diva Trucking. In 2018, Yvette retired after 31 years of employment. She decided it was time to move to the next chapter in life of being an entrepreneur and utilize decades of education and experience at all levels of business, finance and management.
Seeing many opportunities in the trucking business, Yvette is passionate about continuing the legacy of her grandfather. Through her christian faith and family support, she desires to expand and build a successful trucking business as well as encourage other minority women to become a trucking business owner.
